PLSPosterior stabilization system

The aim of the PLS stabilization system is to correct thoraco-lumbar-sacral vertebral pathologies. In addition to the mutual inclination between rod and pedicle screw, a spherical connection element allows the surgeon to shift the vertebrae sagittally and transversally.

The system is completed with a special locking ring which stops the rotation of the connection element and, at the same time, allows to regulate the inclination of the rod in the optimal position.

The PLS system is characterized by some innovative peculiarities. For example, the asymmetrical layout of the thread and the conical connection between the screw head and stem that guarantee optimal hold in the bone tissue, minimize stress onset, and reduce metal yielding.

All components are compliant with Directive 93/42/EEC.
