IFCIntervertebral Fusion Cages

IFC expandable lumbar cage system allows a solution to a number of drawbacks associated with the other interbody fusion systems currently on the market. The cages have a rectangular section, hence they are much more similar to the real anatomy of intervertebral discs in comparison to circular section cages.

The surfaces adjacent to the vertebral bodies are plane, so that contact is more extended, safer and further improved by the hooking notches on the entire surface which prevent the device migration from the interbody space. Fenestrations dimensions are maximized to enhance and speed up the fusion process.
Moreover, the i mplants are expandable: this results in a considerably improved primary stability of the final implant as well as the possibility, when necessary, to restore the spine physiologic curvature thanks to the lordotic shape of the implant.

All components are compliant with Directive 93/42/EEC.
